That's rather peculiar, have you enquired/appealed of the friendly seller of this?

I was expecting around £30 given my location in the arse end of nowhere, wish I'd have just ended it when you were highest bidder but didn't think you were that bothered. I sent him a map which he doesn't understand, so not holding out much hope of him arriving although he's said Friday...

In other news I've finally got someone to remove the (irreplaceable) rear window so I can weld up the holes around the aperture, and squirted a bit of the chosen paint on the roof:



Looks pretty good I reckon on the car, and should go nicely with the stainless trim which looked a bit 'lost' with a bright silver - which turns out wasn't the original colour anyway. Plus I rooted through my spares stash and found these



Dunno why, but NOS parts make me happy, especially if they are (likely) unavailable now. The old ones were starting to craze with UV damage, so good job I have replacements really.
