There is a very nice looking black phase 1 GT for sale in Citroneon and the guy called Andy is only asking £500 for it if anyone is interested. 8) B 449 WNA

Don't you need one of these Phil, to fill that current Libya shaped hole in your life? ;-)

8) I wouldn't mind picking one up when I eventually do retire.

I would need a few to fill a hole that size. It's nearly a thousand miles just from Benghazi to Tripoli.
Have been invited to Zawia in June. They say I can fly in to Tunis then go by car to Zawia about 40 miles west of Tripoli. My mate Fuzzi Saad says it's relatively quite safe. :o

Just wish he hadn't added that relatively word

The only really safe place at the moment is Kufra in the desert towards the southern border seeing as there is no fucker there.

Sounds like your mate like his namesake operates in a branch of computing called 'fuzzy logic''. That is it's not clearly defined. :-)

If you go, just remember to collect your AK47 as you pass the border. ;-)

I've driven this around 6 years ago...went pretty well. Arctic Steel was his BXC username, and he's a decent bloke. Dunno howit's been stored since, but hopefully under cover.

8) If the picture in citronean is anything to go by Mat, it looks in very good nick so it must have been stored well.

I must say that if I was after a project I'd be tempted, Pretty local, and I reckon the potential to be a good car. Doubt it would be a profit making scheme though as everyone wants a low miler...

TBH Mat, unrusty phase ones of any sort are as rare as hens teeth nowadays.
A good GT kept in good repair will be an appreciating asset in a few short years.
