 And if you get through those try the more orthodox Awaken, Parallel, and Roudabout.

The last 2 have a kid videoing himself playing the baselines to the soundtracks.

He's pretty good too, on his Rickenbacker. 8)

Ahh, see, there in lays the problem..

Aside forem the fact my PC is now Fubar, and I can only actualy use it at all thanks to a SPIO external HD with Windows XP from Jonathon, I still cannot actually watch video's.. just get stop time vid!

The whole thig is wankered.. But once I've got something that isn't fucked with endless "delayed write failed" fucking messages then I'll have a look see..

Cant even get on FB now... It's all gone a bit bleak down here..

If I could get on Ebay I'd just buy a whole machine...

TBH Doc. we have a computer fair here every wednesday and you can buy everything you need dead cheap. Quite a few people said oh get such and such and I'll build you one.
In the end I bought this Dell PC Dimension.
It came with loads of stuff on it and a dual core whatnot, a 19" screen and it was under £400 delivered.

All I had to do was join all the wires up and I was up and running.

It's 2 and a half years old now and I've had no problems with any of the hardware.

That doesn't go for shitty AOL or even shittier Macafee.
I blew it out and IE, got your favourite PCTools and Apple Safari browser.

I didn't find Vista much different to using XP TBH, either.Although they will all be arriving with W7 now I suppose. :)

Well, I'm back on line... Even less working than before though!

I think that could be the best option TBH mate, I'll just go buy a machine that works out of the box since I am clearly incapable of fixing this one or making one that works from the large number of bits knocking about here...

Had a look on the bay, as much as you can with script errors on page hence no format to the page, and no pictures..

Seems I can get Pentium 4 mainboards with 2 gb of Ram for not much..
So I might get one of them and see if I can build something that works..

I mean, it cant be that hard right??

Plug it all in and away it goes I reckon...

errrr, well, in engine terms it's probably like bolting and engine and periphery stuff together yet not knowing about timing and mixture etc. I've found I can waste hours, if not days on such things and solve nothing.

I am beginning to surrender to such things...........

Oddly, if I use the onternet on the "guest" setting then everything works fine, like, no "delayed write failed" shit, no script errors, everything works just as it should, even FB...
Either way, it's all very ghey...

It's old and fucked...

Am thinking now that trying to build anything that works may well be beyond me, I cannot even get the HDD to back up onto the external one...

So, complete PC has to be the way forward, like, buy, plug in, it works.. hopefully..

 I arrived there some time ago Bandit

I don't have that much time to waste now :( so I want to spend time doing things I know I can do and take maximum satisfaction from that.

When I've sorted Kingy's 4x4 boxes out, the B40 is getting finished, I also found a model boat I need to finish as well.

I used to be very good at wrought Ironwork so I need to sort out how I'm going to set that up.

So! not much time for things that don't like me 8)

computers are ghey..

IE works fine, no error messages or owt, but only when I log into the computer ont he "guest" thing, but only pictures that have been added to the forums since my last log in work. Pictures that were there yesterday are no more..

the toolbar's disappeared from the top and I have to log in here everytime I visit...

ghey ghey ghey...

If he's got any sense he's bumdling Laura off to somewhere far away from us!

TBH mate I hvae no idea if the motherboards I have here are any good, even what chip is in them... Nor do I know if there's enough t make something that just works like what I want it to, and it's a piss up, I have no wish to impose on our host when it should be about getting rat arsed and taking the piss..

Plus, the Xmas expenditure is going to be truely horrific this year since I have a mahoosive family to buy for this year, and since I've missed a few years then I kinda feel the need to get them all something nice as opposed to a stock bottle of wine...
So, whilst I'm not brassic, spending more than a couple of hundred quid on some poxy box thing that sits smirking at me in the corner of the room should be lower on the priority list right now I guess...

I've found a replacement computer for doc, assuming we can't make something from nothing. Only problem is that its considerably higher in performance than my own PC and i'm not sure i like that!!

I like some opera, but alas at the present time, still cant really see the vids, and the sound has rather died off now aswell...., it's like listening to skipping record...
