I made this offer on BXC ages ago, in the context of people who were selling cars and didn't know how to post pics:
It stands for this place too, but I suspect Vanny has even more webspace than me so maybe best to bug him first.
There was no response.I wrote:I have more webspace than I will ever use. If you want me to host files for you, pm me with an email address and we'll sort it out. Mods, feel free to sticky this offer.

I think I've got some webspace?
Or at least I guess I have.
how the hell do I find out?
And what can I do with it?
Stu, you're surprised there was no response?
If I ever discover I need webspace and I doint have any I'll let you know! Ta!

I do this with mine, and I also use it to host pics that I post on internet forums
My website is inexplicably popular - I thought it was a pisspoor excuse for a homepage even in 1998, but it seems old-car nuts like it. I even get emails hassling me for content when I haven't written anything for a while!

Why you selling that P6 Stoo? I'd love one, but it's typical story of space money time yada yada but I have to own a V8 before I pop me clogs so I've decided a P6 will be it.
I first have to get the moggie sorted and the Triumph 2000 sorted.
BTW, was thinking today, 'Minor D6C' would go rather nicely!!!!

BMC 'A' series engine, that brings back memories. The first car engine I stripped down to the last nut&bolt, had re-machined, reassembled and worked a dream. Before the strip it had holes in 3 of the exhaust valves but still ran of sorts with a bit of smoke!Bx Bandit wrote:

Careful perusal of my website will demonstrate that I haven't done any work on it since 2004.Bx Bandit wrote:Why you selling that P6 Stoo?
I'm not fussed about money - I'd give it away to anyone who promised to restore it, or ask a nominal fifty quid or something to anyone who wanted to break it for spares.
There is absolutely no point in it continuing to sit in my Mum's incredibly damp garage rusting away. If I don't get shot of it soon, I'll be sweeping it up. I'd rather the parts helped other P6s live than let that happen - I always intended to restore it but I've grown up enough to realise that that's never going to happen.
Cheers,

Awesome little things aren't they mate? I can leave mine for at least 6 months, bung a battery in and it'll fire up happy as hell! They must be bullet proof. Twas the 1st engine I pulled apart as well. I'm suprised it's still running the amount of stick I gave it when it was on the road....it really needs some tlc poor thing!Way2go wrote:BMC 'A' series engine, that brings back memories.
