Website : YouTube

Post by Vanny » 20 Sep 2009

I've added a new feature to the main website, YouTube Video Gallery, it can be accessed from the front page link or here;

http://www.bxproject.co.uk/e107_plugins ... ry/ytm.php

Gives me the opportunity to show off the few YouTube vids I've cobbled together, and allows me to add your vids. They are only linked (so no over heads) and played straight from YouTube but without having to go and search them out!

Well it might keep me amused. Let me know in this thread if you have a submission

Nice one Van! I have a rather poor Triumph 2000 vid but it really is a tad crap! We need more piss up ones up there!

No it isn't, it's bloody hilarious!

Alas all my vids right now are extremly poor quality bus related vids, filmed on a 300 year old Nokia with 3 pixles or something..

:) I'm getting the same way. I now have reading glasses to read obviously, and my old reading glasses (15yrs) I need for looking at the screen, as my screen is set up a meter away.

I can't even weld in a straight line now....I think I will have to go down to an 8's glass 8) could probably do with a stick to add to that smiley.

I've got a few car related vids on YouTube, but (surprisingly!) no piss up ones...
Somewhere, I do have amusing video of me going down a slide backwards when drunk, I almost break my neck! Have to dig that one out for a laugh. The slide was in a bar in France - the toilets were downstairs and you could either use the stairs or the slide. I was going to go head first, but someone beat me to it. Obviously I had to outdo them by going down in reverse!

Edit - just remembered I uploaded it here!

Also, a nice Rover V8 rumble

Y'know Mat, having watched that video of you savaging the eggs I feel someone has emerged to fill the space left by Keith Floyd's departure...

I'm not really sure, I do tend to have perhaps more than my fair share of mishaps. Take this Saturday for example - I was clearing some trees for firewood with my chainsaw, when I had just about enough time to think "That chain's a bit slack" when it jumped off the bar and started flapping around more than I would like.
And then on Sunday me and the missus went for a nice relaxing walk, when the path in front of us started to get a bit marshy. She climbed onto the fence that followed the footpath, whereas I (fearing it wouldn't hold my weight, started to pick my way through. When it looked as though the water level would go over the top of my boots I thought I'd better find an alternative route, so I started jumping from tussock to tussock. Only to find myself in waist deep, stinking bog water. Which was fucking freezing, and did I mention that it smelt! Had to roll onto one side to get my legs out, it was actually quite worrying.
As most of my friends point out though, life is never dull when I'm around...

Luckily it wasn't like that guy on the news the other day where the chain caught his sleeve and started towing the chainsaw up his arm. He released the trigger and closed his eyes hoping it would stop before it got his arm, it stopped & he thought he had got away with it before opening his eyes and saw his arm lying on the floor.

Anyway there was a happy ending, the hospital managed to reattach his arm and he has nearly all functionality back after several months, which was the news item :D

Phils memory must be getting worse then because I believe Gregzee (who apparently has a few other names) is a relative of his - maybe grandson. [chin]
