A lot cheaper just to change your oil and filter every 12 months, if you do no more than 10K a year

They work very very well in deed, but only if your car is obtaining 90% of max coolant temp 90% of the time. Track day, yes, driving around a multistory in your chaved up Saxo, no.
I think quite of the single seater regs require them to be fitted to all cars.
