Move surrounding cars then run and hide for a bit

No engines where hurt in the making of this post, though a few fresh cookies have lost there lives!

that's the advantage of brake fluid, somewhat better flashpoint!

Care to elaborate? I presume this is for decoking purposes?

Trying to decide what to put through this Nissan engine before i fit it. Not sure how long it's been on the shelf you see!

Was tempted by parafin as i can spin it over freely on the bench to circulate and then a couple of oil changes.

Thoughts???

Nope, I hate caring!

aww go on then. Yeah, it's bloody brilliant for decoking.
Parafin is ok I guess, always used brake fluid though. In this case vansters engine had been running on 2 1/2 ish cylinders due to duff wiring in the injector circuit. So a bit of a blast with dot 4 and some crimps and all was well again

The parafin was meant for the oilways.

Not sure if the DOT4 decoke would work well with a CAT? Interesting all the same though!

better off running Forte engine flush through the oily bits mate. If you're REALLY concerned, run 2 in it for 30 minutes then dump the lot and stick some fresh shit in.
Dot 4 is fine wth Cats as long as you get the cat up to temp first

I bash a litre of diesel into the oil, run it till hot and drain out
