Bandit! It's a piss-easy job to drive out the pin....IF (and its a fuckin' big "if") you can get access to the back end of the pin (NOT the weird threaded end!). The web of the gearbox casing gets right in the way, unless you can move the lever around to get some clear "twatting room" for your punch!
If you try to draw it out from the other end, using a nut and spacer on the threaded bit, the bastard will almost certainly shear off!
