I saw somewhere you said that the rack job was such a bugger it almost made you want a Xantia...

Don't! A Xanita is likely to need a new heater matrix and to replace one makes a BX rack job seem like a sunday afternoon stroll in the park :twisted: :D

I duno mate, I've done a few xanty heater matrix's now, they aint too bad.
Better than being buried under a shitty old french pile of crap all day with green blood pissing into your eyes, down your sleeves, up your nose and everywhere else!

Still, tis done now, bar a bit of fiddling with the tracking, and it no longer knocks like a 79year old hooker, so all is well.
Christ does it ever feel slow compared to the valver though!

I did a rack today - took about 30mins - don't know what you're moaning about doc.........oh, what the haynes doesn't tell you is to remove the engine first! :lol:

If I have to do another one, I'll just drop the subframe down a tad, that makes life much easier, or yeah, take the engine out!
