Wow there's a few got in between Bandit.
The temp over there has been around 30 for the last 6 weeks. They just got some thunderstorms but hopefully they will have cleared by the 2nd and stay away until the 17th, when we return. It's still warm though, Rachael phoned me from the beach at T time, saying they were having a barbie then an evening swim.
That's in the Baltic that I was walking across at xmas. It's fairly shallow, so freezes in winter and is as warm as the med by August. Don't tell people though It's nice having a mile long beach to yourself.

If you just go on Google maps bandit, swing over to Sweden, look for Kalmar on the East coast, about 200 miles s***h of Stockholm. she lives at Ryssbylund, about 12 miles north of Kalmar. If you follow the little road going East from there, off the E22, you will find the beach at Ljungnaas, where we go swimming and they had their barbie.
Streetview is available.

There is a huge bridge at Kalmar, going to Oland, a big Island just off the coast, it's worth a look on Oland. I could live there.

Actually look for Rockneby not Ryssby. Ryssby is an area of Rockneby. you'll find it as you zoom in.
