ABS Brake Hoses

Post by jayw » 23 Sep 2010

As there's been loads of discussion for years about the N/A of the front hoses for the 4.5mm lines i've forgotten where we got to?

Did anyone ever find a supplier?

The reason I ask is i need a pair for the Valver as they're shot to buggery.

There's a specialist locally who says they can make up the proper ones but he wants £25 EACH!

Looks like memory is failing you mate, you've even commented in the thread! Mind you they are £20 each...

They are still available (ish) locally.
I'll get you a price if you like, last set I got was about £17 each.
That was a while ago though, and he did say at the time that when the stock ran out, that was it.

How desparate are you Jay? I "might" be able to help you, if I don't end up with annother BX with ABS. I bought a pair new a little while back, andf they are still in the bag, so I'd be happy to sell them to you for what I paid for them. HOWEVER, if I buy annother BX that has ABS, then I'm keeping them!

Erm, let me see... i've had the valver since April 2004 and it's been off the road approximately 4 & 1/2 of those 6 years, it's current period of "rest" being around 2 & 1/2 years... erm, no hurry
