Provided I keep to 70/75 my 19 na will do about that, but even just knocking about it returns around 45, whereas the picass does about 4 mpg worse in both cases. Although in fairness it's a lot heavier and has 18 more horses to feed.

I had typed a nice long post with various details of our jaunts this week but the sodding board deleted it all [no]

So, here's the BX pics, can't be arsed to type it all again :x

(although the pics are in reverse order, weather was perfect all week and only got miserable as we headed back to england)

:) Some really nice pics there Jay, you were certainly lucky with the weather.

It's years since I've been up there. Must go again soon.

Just for a split second I thought "phwoar", bird on BX.. then I realised that would would be your bird.. Since I dont have a full compliment of teeth as is, I immediatley ceased thinking "phwoar"..

Off roading in a TD BX though.. hmm..

the board seems to time out if you spend too long writing the message, i always copy long messages before hitting 'post', will look into extending the time

It's happened to me that message lots of times recently. I just resubmit and it works. I thought it was just IE 8 pissing about again

Yeah I know but it's all I have left :( My computer needs wiping and starting again but since I'm now getting work in, I need it and can't really afford to have it down or anything important go missing. So it will have to wait till I can take it in somewhere, to get it sorted.

Nice photos, I liked the off roading! Watch out for the sump though, having bust 2 in the last 18 months! I reckon a steel one would just have dented mind, and survived without leakage.

A couple of those have the flavour of a late 1980s/early 1990s Citroen brochure to them. They'd probably have chosen to break a 4x4 for the more off-road pictures, though.

I used to have a book picked up from a charity shop somewhere which must have originally been supplied as a freebie with BX 4x4s. It had one one the cover, various off-road routes and walks inside. However, parts of the interior had been biro'd to buggery by little hands.

Full reply page and IE8.

The error message you've mentioned above happens VERY regularly but 2nd submission works fine with no loss of data.

On this occasion i got no error message, it just dumped all the data when i clicked SUBMIT and reloaded the page. I've mever had a problem with my long-winded messages before?!?

it's alledgedly a problem with IE8 timing out the connection as a 'security' feature, deosn't seemt o be anything i can do to resolve it at the moment. Will continue to look and see if there is a fix.

This happens on Firefox too so possibly not neccessarily attributable to IE8. The problem started after the forum returned from the bxp hack.

I have the option of IE7 or IE8, most times I use IE7 now, since it works properly, and IE8 seems full of glitches, bugs and shite.

Never get the time out on IE7, only on IE8..

Don't use IE8 myself, only for windows updates as microsoft refuse to do this though anything other than IE. Firefox is much more user friendly with more useful features too as a default browser. :D

Now that is interesting. It could be some overly active security feature then.
