New garage?

Post by Vanny » 19 Oct 2010

Would this be classed as a little excessive?

The mezzanine floor, if you can call it that would probably become lauras domain, and there would be a variety of walls to put in dowan stairs to fence off the 'good car' garage, from the 'toy' cars and the workshop and 'potting shed'. I think there would also end up being a ruddy big lean to victorian style summer house/conservatory on the back some where.

See you've got the priorities sorted then, H-Van & BX

Though, garage is a bit of an understatement... Warehouse???

8) Is that in place of the garden..........or the house as well :P

Looks fine to me! A nice spiral up to the mezzanine for if you need an extra pair of hands quickly.

Love it! If I was single I'd try and get something like that - partition off an area that I could heat easily for living/sleeping space and it's jobbed. However I would be likely to remain single if I did that...

Our shed looks nothing like that!

So, I'm guessing you're planning on knocking down the neighbours house then?

If anything you will outgrow it, always happens, you have plenty of space then all of a sudden its full with stuff piled on stuff on stuff.

I like the H van and BC inside :) Now a DS a CX a GS, traction, visa, etc etc and you will be set :)
OK, so i've got some stuff, some of it goes, some of it doesnt, some of it never will again!

Stinky, i was gonna put all the crap outside in the many acres of land. Not to say that a DS is crap, but its the only way i'de have one, if it came in battered and i left it to rot.

Doc, it's a fantasy garage, which means it sure as fuck wouldn't be in Coventry, and really shouldn't be in the s***h either.

Mat, Sticking laura in the roof space is my method to make sure a) i'm allowed to have it, b) not single by the end and c) able to afford it!

With care, steel off the back of a lorry, and the use of cheap labour, it shouldn't really cost all that much. Big concrete slab, some steels, some shuttering and roofing and then i can do everything else my self, but not in my own time or it will never happen!

that is truth.
Our shed looked immense and I thought "we'll never ever fill this"..now we have shite out the back, sticking out either end, out the front, in the next field, and already in the new shed that isn't even built yet!

Vanny, the s***h is better, it just is.

The garage space would be great for all weather working, storing whatever and still leaving space for a "sun-lounger" to contemplate the next phase of the job on. :) 8)

---But, what on earth would Laura want to use that mezzanine for? :?
