Number plates

Post by Philhod » 03 Nov 2010

Does anyone know how to find out what a number was allocated to originally.
I have the 1960's number plate off my B40, but I'm not sure of it's history as it was a bag of bitz when I got it in 1985.

Depends if the Doovlay have the records or not.
If you mean can you trace the history of the B40 then going down the V888 route will tell you (so long as they have the data on file) who previous owners were and if there were any number changes.

If its still OK it should just show "unlicensed" as presumably it was before you needed to SORN it that you laid it up? :D

 I don't think it will be on any HPI database Jay, it was a bag of bitz before databases were invented.
