The original project writeup - revived

Post by Vanny » 20 Sep 2011

After Mat's request for the intercooler write up, i realised i never did add all the old write ups to the site, so i've started with the original write up on the car that started it all!

Nearly 18 months on - are there any results/conclusions to your "explosive" rust removal technique aired on the front page? :P

Erm, well it worked rather well TBH, problem was it takes fooking ages (like a couple of days) just to get one head light adjuster thread clean. I'd say its a winner for thin or light metal work, but a bit of a waste of time if you can just hit it with a flap wheel/brush etc

I suspect a better piece of ferrous and more current would probably be of advantage.
