That's not an original colour I take it? It's got to be one of my favourite colours for a car!

Dont like the wheels, and the front ride height is too high, but my god that's sexy!

I wonder if that is still alive today? :?

Certainly is a great colour that suits the BX. Much brighter than my original blue one even when it was new. 8)

I hadn't noticed that until you said, but that's a car that really takes me back to my youth. Never really liked the early ones (although at one point I quite fancied a late model turbo, ironically in the same blue as the BX) but I used to see one all the time when I was very young. Ahhh, nostalgia...

EDIT - Want it!

Wern't the 5 turbo's with the writing on the doors labeled Gordini? Or was that a separate model.

I got to drive a Gordini round Oulton years back. It was like riding a big bike, everytime you hit the throttle hard, in any gear, the back tried to overtake the front. Even though the springs were tied down to about an inch of travel. 8)

IIRC the Gordini was a completely seperate "balls-out" model and only of the MK1 variety... it may even have been the rear-engined one [chin]

[chin] It was a mk1 with turbo. The Gordini name was from the original rear engined Dauphine, but was resurected on the MK1 Turbo's but defo FWD as I recall the torque steer was unbelievable and cased the back to step out with extreme rapidity.
They were Turbo's all white with dark blue roof and blue writing on the doors, a la Porsche Carrera, but with further suspension tweaks and added boost / less lag.
Fucking awesome machine but a bastard to keep on the tarmac.

I think there was a R5, Maxi I think. That had a V6 Alpina engine stuck where the back seat was, but that was also a 4x4.
