C5 Spheres
There's been a couple of instances recently where i've heard of our continental cousins fitting C5 spheres on their Valvers... What's the point?

Re: C5 Spheres
long life?
There meant to last 1 times longer than normal spheres
Also i suspect given where some of these boys are, its all they can get!
Did you notice that the official rear sphere of a Xantia is now the c5 one from all models after 2005. That is probably a good cost down for Citroen!

Re: C5 Spheres
I would have thought our old type were still pretty abundant, there doesn't seem to be any sign of them drying up over here and i imagine the demand is greater on the mainland.
I was thinking it must be a fashion mod... "because we can" type of thing.

Re: C5 Spheres
Are they really any different? I mean that guy at stratty had made that re charging machine and could adjust the pressure to what you preferred. So unless the later spheres are superior in some other way, what's the point?

Re: C5 Spheres
they are superior in as much as they keep their pressure much longer, and they are smaller. Thats about it as far as I can see..

Re: C5 Spheres
I hadn't actually noticed how much smaller they were. Maybe the membrane has a smaller area, or is of better material that makes it last longer?
