All that said, Bandit's right mostly There really isn't anybody to vote for. The fucking 600 odd in there haven' a fucking clue between them. :x

In fact, it's the highest paid job ( with pretty good fiddles) I know of that doesn't reqire any qualifications......no wonder it attracts morons.

Our fiddling bastard (sorry MP) is retiring and guess what? They were issued a Labour party directive that they were only to shortlist female applicants. All hell broke out here (and quite rightly) Although of all the applicants the one that they chose was a woman. Annoyingly she was by far the best (my opinion)

Oh dear... I'm a tory voter, always have been.. and shall remain so.
Not that it makes one iota of difference, since yes, they are all the same.

The trouble is with that opinion (and Phil as a dyed in the wool labour guy) is that neither of your respective parties are bothered about you or your problems. It is only the floating voters that they are concerned about and making their overtures to. [coat]

quite so, but the tories have one advantage over Labour, and for that one reason I vote for them.

:x W2g's right I'm afraid. It really galls me that the bastards pander to people who either change their vote according to the "what's in it for them and fuck everyone else" syndrome
Or are that thick or apathetic, they can't make their minds up or get their arses in gear to go and vote.

:) Go on then Doc, I'll bite?

[chin] Now if we are going to get stereotypical, aren't tories more likely to be driving around in the newer cars?

Seriously though Doc, where do you derive that info from? :?

I have to say I've never known a government that is so anti-car as the current administration!

 I don't know what the fuck you lot are on about.
I've been driving since 1961 and every administration since then (bar none) has tried to price the ordinary working man, off the road. They aint succeded of course, but are pretty happy with the cash cow they milk daily :x

I thought it was Labour that ditched the tax on pre 73 motors??????????????

no, it was conservative under john major that introduced the the tax exemption (i remember it well, as I'd just taxed my bus at the time which was 27 years old so I got a nice fat rebate), then at the 97 erection (sp), gordon the crook thought "hang on we're losing too much money" and he stopped it.

Yes but Major wasn't a tory, he was a tailors dummy.

I stand corrected then young Smiffers. But if Gordon stopped it, how come it's back in? there's no tax on pre 73 cars is there?

It wasn't stopped Phil but the rolling age was stopped ie 20 years old or whatever it was at the time. :) So now it's pre the frozen date of those eligible vehicles that had it already.

yes indeed WTG is quite right about the rolling 25 year date. What we finally ended up with, was anything older than K reg (first time around) at the time of the first labour budget was exempt, and anything after didn't.

No no mate, the Tories have a fair stash of old British and foreign motoring gems, hence they like old cars, always have.

Ah! :) Like Lord Montague and the Landed Gentry along with the likes of Peter de Savory you mean?

Btw, what happened to that car collection de Savory had at Littlecote House before he sold it? [chin]

Maggie fucked on so many working class it's unreal and started off this free economy bolx. Yes, ok, perhaps it has led to prosperity (for a small increasingly wealthy few), with the result that money has been poured back into the area(s) namely London of course, but the wealth spreads e.g. Cardiff has just undergone a major revamp BUT, nice though it is, it's only benefitted those who have cash to spend on the high street and average Joe gets to suffer the havoc of this boom and bust culture

It's pure greed, completely unneccesary. Shareholders should be either frigged off, or capped in some way, to prevent things like Kraft taking over Cadbury. Well, the shareholders (greedy scum) are happy cos they get more millions ker-ching ker-ching, greedy bastards, but meanwhile we're going down the pan.

I want someone with big fucking balls of steel at the top. In one way I admire people like Putin and even Irans leader (Amerdinerjad???!) for having balls of steel and sticking by his guns instead of folding like a wet flannel.

UKIP can fuck off.
BNP can fuck off.
Green party - know fuck all about them
Think I'll vote for Vanny and see what happens!

I think you mean "Avadmedinnerdad" 8)

I got a shock when I looked up Cadbury's shareholders...It's owned 75% by the Chinese

On further examination most of our big companies and institutions are foreign owned, mostly
Chinese, Arabs and Indians, in that order
In essence, they could shut us down overnight. but then they bought in for investment ...right!!!!!

The frightening thing is, they are all societies that we have royally fucked over, on numerous occasions. So meh!!
