That's the best way IMO, certainly for me. Why waste money going out on a 'date', only to find you don't get on? At least if you're friends you know you get on - then there's only the small matter of actually fancying each other (which can be easily - although temporarily - solved with the application of alcohol).
With me it's the anticipation that's most enjoyable, so I try and draw it out for as long as possible. After all, once you have achieved your 'goals', what else is there left to look forwards to?

ROFL. Similarly my nice Nokia E63 crashd and died a couple of weeks ago taking everything on the phone memory with it - including most of my phone book - cue lots of ranom texts from people I could no longer identify, I always feel a bit of a twat sending texts saying "who are ya?".

@ Doc - i have an Inflatable Ingrid who says several phrases such as " you never listen to me" "why do you never leave the seat down?" and "No, not later, why cant you do it NOW?" and other phrases. Believe me its llike the real thing, but doesnt eat as much or come and have a shit whist you are cleaning your teeth....

Back on page one of this very thread (before it unsurprisingly went wildly off topic!) there is a vaery good map courtesy of our Vanster.

We usually take over the top field (the one furthest from the entrance), pitch up and proceed to annoy old bastards in caravans and party like it's, er, well, 1999 or some shit.

How many are turning up Friday I dont know, but I understand Smiffy is, so probably Vanny aswell maybe?
I'll be along early / mid arvo saturday all being equal..
