Re: BXClub, what's happening there then?

Post by Father Ted » 09 Aug 2009

Meh, no worries on that score Billy. TBH im not arsed if anyone does take a pop at me. I only really walked off the job and down the boozer because of all the shit going on in my life, then i got lots more whinging off bxc and thought fuck this for a game of soldiers. Actually the god of giving marty some shit seems to be having a little holiday at the moment, but i expect him to be back soon.

That's the good thing (one of many) about this place Marty. I reckon you could potentially disagree on just about any subject in the world and no-one would go crying to the mod(s), you'd get reasoned debate and when we take the piss out of people they know it's just good fun no matter how much shit we throw at them.

its a wee bit hard to whinge to mods when there aren't any. Ah bliss, no moderating, its really the way to go!

I'd never consider joining the CCC again unless there are some serious changes. The place wreeks of self importance, pisses me off something wrotten, and those on the forum are incredibly good at being blind sighted. Fools. Nope the CCC is for people with little interest in cars.

well thats nice, and quite a big compliment as Adrians one of the few CCC members whom i have a lot of time for, really decent guy from the dealings i've had, and he's done a mighty fine job of the CCC website (not to mention the huge amount of help he provided me with the LUCC websites!).

AW. Don't tell me you havn't included the new BX expert on there.
He writes a column of....err......err, well he writes a column every month, full of ...err....err......

Well he always mentions the dodecahedron.

Back to earlier things..... Picasso passed it's test this pm.

Just 2 advisories, back box looks knackered but not blowing. Front discs grooved, which I was aware of and will be changing along with pads, at service next week.

I know I had a moan about electrickery foibles earlier, but the car has done 54000, is just over 6 years old and this will be the first work I've done on it :D

:x Apart from that fucking £200 lift pump, 2 years ago :x

Erm, how?!

He's only met me once, for a brief time, when I was hung over, ALOT...

That said, I've nowt bad to say about Adrian at all, and indeed I've said quite loudly before that the CCC desperatly needs more poeple like him.

Can be arranged....................At a price of course. :)

It was getting on for 2 years ago now, when I was looking for a repair for the head. It was him that pm'd me and directed me to here, with suitable comments regarding you and Vanny.

What, leave Nigel Wilde alone, he is a legendary comedian, and untill you've been to one of his stand up shows then you really shouldn't knock him!

I agree with Marty, althoguh listening to his set whilst burried under Tim's valver was funny as fuck, although TBH, it was made a good deal funnier given Vanny's running commentary about the whereabouts of Nigels feet!
