Kewl Phil! Glad you're having fun mate. I've heard some find it difficult after retirement - probably ones without hobbies or other interests, unlike yourself.

Frig a dig dig - I have 15 years untill I can retire, but I ratehr suspect I will be dead before then.
Decided to ask the NHS pensions agency if I can stop paying my AVC's - they should then give me that back so that will be a nice lump sum of either a VW Beetle or Nissan Figaro.

Yeah now that's the thing!! It's actually 2 years since I came back from Bahrain. Now that I can't believe. It doesn't 1/2 speed up when you have nowt to do

technically I have been retired for 12 years now although it wasnt by choice, I seem busier now than when I was at work , I know Phils the same , keeping busy keeps you alive
