AFAIK BX rear struts are now NLA.
Xabty rears will go almost straight on bar a bit of choppy vhoppy of the union spigot.
Oh, and swopping the pushrods over..

I suspect as the years go on then yes, modifying shit from other, newer cars will be the only way to keep the BX going. I doubt it'll ever have the spares support of the 2CV or DS etc..
So it's modify or die I guess..
Since I just cant find a newer car I like I'll keep modding the BX..

I just can't imagine being in another daily car (other than an XM, or a C6 now I think of it). There a few modern cars I quite like the look of, but that's completely different from liking driving and owning it.

If I had the space and facilities, I'd run a small fleet of classics...

There, one for every day of the week, the TZD being the work horse of the lot

Indeed I have my bunny hopkins, although the Triumph needs a full, bare, down to the teeth rebuild and I haven't (yet) got the garage facilities to do it (+ I need a lot more skill & practice) but the Morris can be done on the driveway, one sill is all that is required structurally, but quite a bit of other mechanicals/brakes/windscreen rubbers etc etc. I want it to be original
