There's a BNIB 50 amp on ebay

tempting, although I have a hankering for 80amps now. I mean, it's only ever had a 50amp, but ya know, 80 sounds better right!

Fin, the picture does make it look a LOT shitter than it is, for example on the right hand thread, i havent grinder the thread, but grinded back the weld, but its a little flat sided. Any whoo, i havent cut the 10mm side to length because i've not measured how long it needs to be.

Just need to get/build/refurb an alternator. Going to see if Denso do one, and if i get staff discount anywhere.

Vanny, the link on here from Ebay is an actual shioney 80amp unit, but you will need to change the pulley over.

Conspiracy theory continues, Gary's alternator snuffed it earlier today. 3 BX's in 2 weeks all with different age units failing? Something odd going down there!

Mig welding forum.

It is THE greatest place in the world!

Some hero has seen my piss poor attempt at a bolt, decided i'm more likely to injur myself than get the car working, made up a bolt on a lathe and stuck it in the post!

How happy am I!!!
