Yup, Stu did have the smallest one off me, 1.4 avantage.
I also had two 2.0i volcane, and 2 1.9i volcane.
The 1.9 is actually the more powerful car, without all the anti-pollution bollox on it.
Part of me wishes I still had it, they don't rust much either...
They say an apple a day keeps the doctor away...
but now that most of them are muslim, I find bacon and sausages work better!

Must agree John. My 19D was excellent all round and the handling was very good too.
the rear wheel steer made it turn in like a sports model. :D

My Xsara's got all the good bits of ZX we're talking about here, and I must say I'm really falling for it - really nice little car to drive.

Is it the rear wheel steer that lets you kick the back end out on a wet roundabout? </innocent look>
Cheers,
Stu

Everything about the Xsara is good as you say, but like the ZX the outside is rather bland.

The ZX would hang it's tail out like a RWD, but was always easy to pull back in line. In fact for the first none oily Cit I bought i was really happy with the handling and the ride, whereas the Picasso handles great, at the cost of the ride quality.
It's fine on the Mway at speed though :D

It's worse than bland, it's a Phase 2 - it's got drool constantly dribbling out of one corner of its stupid grin.

I've even started parking it the other way round that I did the BX so that I don't have to look at its retarded face.

Nice car to own though!
Cheers,
Stu
