:( Shame on you Bandit, making her go out in the cold in her bare skin.

It's best to have layers on. Thermal socks with a good pair of boots quick release if poss.
A pair of jeans is fine provided you have thermal longjohns on underneath (tights don't cut it)
T shirt, fleece and a good jacket, down filled is best. Finally a wooly hat is a must as are insulated gloves of some sort.
You must take your boots off when entering anyones house and you will want to take a layer or so off while you are there. If she has that lot, even if she feels the cold, she should be ok down to -30 8)

Just a thought. She needs to make sure she has, or gets, some waterless face cream.
Most skin creams contain quite a bit of water, which is not recommended at those temps

Good tips my beauty queen! I shall pass on your advice dude, much appreciated. I think she's gonna get lent some gear, but it's only for 5 days so she doesn't need to buy stuff, just go equipped, hence your advice greatly appreciated! :P [clap]

 No probs pal. I have very dry skin and found that last bit out the hard way.
I came in with a frozen face and Rachael gives it the sharp intake of breath.

OOOOO! You don't wanna use that!! you wanna use this...sort of thing. :) Must say it would never have occurred to me, but once you get -12 and below temperatures all the time, it doesen't 1/2 make a difference.

She'll be on a diet of Knäckebröd, potatis, Sill and Korve. That's crispbread, spuds, herring and sausage which I happen to like but not everyone does! There is a type of mustard, nothing like ours, that's worth a try with Korve. It's called Senap and you can buy it at IKEA

I rekon she'll eat all that lot, although she's not a mustardy type of gal. i am though, so if we find ourselves in the IKEA wunderland I'll look out for Senap 8)

:) If you use the hot dog cafe at IKEA, you can try before you buy. Senap is in the yellow taps next to the red ketchup ones.
