Assuming he's not referring to the strawberry variety, I can confirm that it's perfectly possible to do it whilst in the driving seat (of a BX - keeping it relevant to this forum) but would point out that my concentration was solely on the job in hand and driving would have been difficult to say the least. Perhaps in Phils case, if it was some time ago the roads would have been less busy, although I would have still worried about the safety of the bloke with the red flag in front!
