Though Cains has gone totally to the wall in the last 5 years and i wouldn't recommend drinking any off it. They've increased there margin by removing everything good, and replacing it with sugar, and not even good sugar at that.

The Wigan beer company started life in 1975, as a micro brewery producing 3 brews. They won all sorts of awards, both here and in Europe and have now achieved full brewery status. They now produce 7 different beers with about 4 seasonal types and they're available in most of the local pubs as a guest beers. :D

£2 to £2-50 is the norm round here. You would get a pot round yer ed if you asked for £3-50 :shock: Holts pubs, locally, have regular price offers on of £1-95 a pint.

We host a beer festival once a year with beers from all over Europe attending, all at reduced prices.
One prizewinner this year was "Glob" from Slovenia, however I think they may change the name for international sales :lol: Apparently they have similar purity laws as Germany [like]
