Excellent! Not sure which one you're on about but doesn't sound a bad price. I'm sure the Golf will fetch considerably more than that so you should be quids in!

Each to their own I suppose, but you really ought to head on up here. I have a valver bumper waiting for you! Photo was taken when Ian came up, and I was also storing Matt H's Phase 1...

just spoke to the guy selling the meteor and it turns out that they are a citroen specialist garage who have used the car as a runaround ( staff only not customers) since the previous (retired ) owner of it gave it to them when he packed in driving, they have serviced it for a number of years by all accounts

:) Looks neat Mickey. I have seen rust there before but not often. Also check the stiffener to the boot inner wall and the back panel just behind it (no structural issues) I've filled the panel and pop riveted a strengthener over the stiffener before now.

I just checked my bushes but no sign of FT.

Doc. If you are going to visit Mat, I could shoot over and let you have that HP pump.

:? Are you then neglecting 132? We haven't had a progress report in a long time - will it be ready for riding in 2012? :)

132's being a bit neglected yes, although not toally, I've been a bit busy stripping a Midland Red Lance for bits, including a full heated screen.
Deadline top have it in traffic is June 10th. This year. It probably wont be finished inside by then, but it should be MOT'd, painted and looking pretty from outside at least.
It did survive the jacking incident yes, almost unintentionally really, but it's progressed a long way since that.

June 10th? [chin] I take it the launch will then be at the Bristol Harbourside Rally. That's good news indeed. :D

I will try to get over to see it. :D Will the Rocks Railway be open & part of the event that day too? :?

Thats the plan. It's 25 years of Badgerline, so appropriate to release it in to the wild at an event I'm involved with in it's home town. The Rocks Railway should indeed be open that day, with frequent free buses between the railway and the harbourside.

just had a very pleasant drive back from Rye in the meteor
first impressions not bad.

tick over wouldent drop below 1500 revs towards the end of the 125 mile journey but have been out and started it again and it seems fine now,
heater control jammed on cold despite the heater tap being rebuilt last year so may be cables.
sun roof wouldent open but now do's
radio dosent work ,
but apart from that very happy
