Here you’ll find articles on my automotive adventures. From Land Rovers and Citroens to Tractors and Trailers. If it’s got wheels, I’ll probably have a go. Most of the time the articles are maintenance and restoration, but I also love to upgrade and modify to add functionality and features.
In one way or another, I’ve been playing with cars since I passed my driving test. Initially, it was simply by necessity. I had a car available to me, but getting it to start and keeping it running required almost continual maintenance. From a 3-month clutch change to an almost year-long engine change, I learned a lot in those early years.
These days I’m older and wiser, and slightly more particular about my project. But automotive adventures still enthrall me and usually bring a smile to my face, especially if it’s not my project. I’ve got a few extra tools and a little more space these days. No longer do I need to change hydraulic lines on a high kerb!
