Hi Vilem,
It has been a long time, but I think if you enable the function in the CCF and DON'T have the camera plugged in, then when you select reverse, you simply get a black screen. I don't remember there being a warning, just black.

Hi, thanks for the support! I don't have the technology to make these changes, but I visited a LR specialist with a very good reputation. He connects, changes and makes sure the save is according to your information, but after restarting it is clear that the change has not been made.
If I make a hardware mistake, does this affect the activation of the function?
For example, the control unit does not see the presence of the camera via the bus?
Unfortunately, we don't have a solution yet.
Thanks,
V

Hi Vilem, looking at my notes, I see that there is only one place where the CCF needs to be changed, so you have probably found the correct parameter. The CCF is stored in two modules. The BCM has the master and the IPC has the backup. For the Gen2.1 system, the change needs to be made in the BCM to be 'remembered'. The obvious things to check are that the tool you are using supports changes in the BCM CCF, that you are trying to change the BCM and not the IPC stored CCF, and, of course, that you have a Gen2.1 infotainment system and not the earlier EUCD system.
Hope that helps

Hi, thanks for inspiration, I followed this procedure. I only inserted the FAKRA cable with the cable harness on the right side. The hardware is completely connected.
In the Car Configuration File (CCF) we are able to activate the reversing camera, but the CCF change is not possible to saved. So it doesn't work and we have no idea why. Maybe activate something else?
