As an unlikely alternative, Tom's in France - but probably not on for a scrapyard challenge. They'd be set up for lhd, though, if there were any around. Can't recall seeing any on the BX "Calanque" in the pile of cars in a field opposite the "traditional" French garage about 10km away from Chateau Tom, should it still be there.

This Easter weekend, Tom will mostly be speaking French, inspecting newly-repaired roofs, knocking down walls, insulating roofs, and generally working like a DIY maniac. He will also be emptying bottles of Chateau Camplong & quite likely something stronger, visiting Bar Karel, as well as pissing off anyone who asks for it (more likely to be English than French).

Hopefully he won't be getting 2am visits from the deputy mayor to warn that the living-room curtains aren't shut properly (who then hangss about to empty several bottles if they're deemed good enough). Village life.

Sounds just like Stroud!

Theres a dude that sells them on the bay, you get a cover for the bulb rather than a whole headlamp, but they are uber fucking cool!

Right then, this is the one you need.... 280327166968, on ebay.

They look like this

and you will need to modify them, to fit the P43T style bulbs that we have. It's easy to do, and takes about 60 seconds per bulb. I have them in my car, doc has them in his cars, they are for the win!

the french fucker lives just down the rd from me in barry

so went round to see the bloke and he had a set already "modified"

and by modified he meant they the edges had been crimped over so they fit into the bx headlamp

he went on to tell me that when the bulb actually went i could ease the glass casing off/metal sleeve

and fit a new bulb

which i think is the way doc and smiffy went

anyways they are indeed the dog with massssssssive swolllllen bollocksssssss

and de bad banditooos bandit hasnt got a fuckin set

Focus has H2's right?

Mark, there's several ways to mod them.
The fastest and easiest way is to get a set of aerosnips on the metal bit that clamps to the bulb, and cut it at it's furthest point from the brackets that locate the glass bulb.
Push brackets in board slightly and stuff the fuckers on the bulb.
Takes about 10 seconds.
Option 2:
Make a new bracket, takes about 30 mins.

Option 3, file bulb down, takes about 5 minutes, but you run the risk of mullering the bulb.

I went with option 1, on both my cars, and they aint fallen off yet, and infact are a more snug fit than as spec.

well, you see, its like this, yellow, really, nargh, not convincing me.

Tell me what light reflects best and what light is most easy to see by the nekid eye. Then cross reference both sets of information with age. Me bets people with fucked eyes like yellow.

Mate, I thought it was a naff concept, until I fitted them.
They are fucking ace in fog, snow, rain, etc.
Generally they are a much more relaxing light to drive to. I fucking love them.

Odd present to get!

I've not yet had Hep B, although I've done the Hep C thing, that was dull.
Just had another letter form the quack about the possibility of having vCJD! Cool huh!
