Sounds par for the course for a BX with an XU5 - as in "they nearly all do that eventually". Put another way, the syncromesh on 3rd went pear-shaped on both of the ones I drove, but I found I could live with it.

ahh, see, I cheated with the TD a few years back. Before installing the octopus I added a couple of legths of plastic pipe to the rear returns with a couple of lengths of tube on the arse end of them. Piece of piss to do then since they adjoined just behind the subframe as opposed to right fucking smack in the twatting middle of it.

It is, I agree, an unfortunate abbreviation. Perhaps we should stick with the Big to avoid any offence [pray] [bow]

Rope, hammers, yeah, fuck it, I'll try and get up earlier on the Saturday and make a day of car bodging, as long as it's not fucking it down, although since Jesus is coming I'm sure you could have a word with Dad and make sure the wet stuff fucks off elsewhere right?"

Hello chaps,

I'm taking the BX to see Darrin on Sat morning to see if we can figure out what's up. So fingers crossed, by Stratford I'll have a diagnosis if not a cure!
