Re: oh my god!
Time to get her on the fucking road then!
I've had my valver since 2004, so only 6 years.
I've had the red car (well, bits of it!) for nearly 12 years.
The ambulance I've had for, er, 16 years, and the bus just over a year...

Wow, I can't believe the Picasso is 6 years old now, mind you it's only done 51K
The BX I bought in 1996 at 3years old, so we've had that 13 years now.
Time marches on I'm afraid

Re: oh my god!
Had mine since 2 weeks before FCS'04, saved from a deluded MI-powered Caterham project dude for the paltry sum of £50 + the £100 tax on it and ressurected in 2 weeks (and consequently near-fatally injured on-track with Vanny as co-pilot). God, seems like so long ago!
Shame that of the 5 & half years i've had it it's spent about 4 of them in the garage mothballed...
This is MY year boys

I'll have had the BX for 6 years come April, been on the road for most of that. Clocked up 87k miles in that time, and never been stranded anywhere. Not a bad record for a car that most would see as unreliable...

Re: oh my god!
I was referring to you venerable Morris my dear chap. If you've had it since 1986 it's 24 years you've had it, not 14 as quoted by your good self.

Re: oh my god!
Longest is the current CX at 3.5 years
I also owned both my BXs for no more than a year each - what does this mean?
Mind you, I only sold Cyril because if I didn't I'd have my bollokskis chopped off

Cyril was a cracker, best Mk1 I've seen in fooking ages.
But if you get back into BX ownership I'd say fuck it and get a valver, you only live once!

Re: oh my god!
That, i agree with. 3 valvers down the line. 2 of which i spent far too much money on, i dont regret a thing. And would buy another tomorrow given funds to do so.docchevron132 wrote:Cyril was a cracker, best Mk1 I've seen in fooking ages.
