MegaShed Fence Wall

Now this DIY mega shed (or is it a man cave) is really coming together, with just a few more walls left, starting with the fence wall.

Mega Shed Pt 8

One wall up, four to go. While the door end might not seem the most complicated part of the build, getting it ‘right first time’ is critical.

Out of the ground, a base built and frame made, now its time for cladding the long wall. I hoped to get it erect, but I may have a size issue.

After completing the ground works and the base, the main structure of the shed starts to take form, starting with framing the long wall.

In this Mega Shed article, I install under floor insulation and a subfloor on the completed base frame. Soon the walls will be on and I can see the shape.

With the site cleared and groundworks complete, I can start building the base. This is a big step change, from design and prep to building!

Mega Shed Part 3

With the site cleared, I can start the Mega Shed build. The base will be constructed first, once groundwork and concrete piers are completed.

Mega Shed Part 2 Clearing Site

With the design for the Mega Shed setting on I needed to spend time clearing the site before I can start building. And man was that a task.

Mega Shed Pt1

Running out of space in the garage is slowing projects to a standstill. A Mega Shed is a good solution but it will need careful designing first.
