Car Show – FotU 2022 – My Highlights
After weeks of turmoil with the BX, I wondered if it would even make it to FotU 22. But it did, and the festival was fantastic.
Here you’ll find articles on my Automotive Adventures. From Land Rovers and Citroens to Tractors and Trailers. If it’s got wheels, I’ll probably have a go. Most of the time the articles are maintenance and restoration, but I also love to upgrade and modify to add functionality and features.

After battling the fuel leak, the original leak was still present. After a bad judgement call, I have even more leaks. Will I make it to FotU?
Before I set off to FotU, I want to trace a fluid leak near the engine. But first the Citroen BX has a major fuel leak!

The last-minute BX repairs where to get me to the Late Brake Show on Tour in Manchester. And it did. And the show was fantastic.
With a little spare time, I thought I would tackle a maintenance job on the Citroën BX. Replacing the HP pump belt was not as simple as I had hoped, but clearly long overdue.

At last the final scuttle repair can begin. This seems like a simple piece to weld in, but for the next panel to align, it needs to be neat.
With the suspension turret repaired, I could turn my mind to making repair pieces and welding up the scuttle. Using the highly technical process of CAD.
